RSU (Road Side Unit) is a device used in ETC (Electronic Toll Collection) systems, installed alongside the road, that communicate with the On Board Unit (OBU) in vehicles using DSRC (Dedicated Short Range Communication) technology to realize vehicle identification and electronic toll collection. An RSU is composed of a high-gain directional beam-controlled read/write antenna and an RF (Radio Frequency) controller. The high-gain directional beam-controlled read/write antenna is a microwave transceiver module responsible for sending/receiving signals and data, modulating/demodulating, encoding/decoding, and encryption/decryption. The RF controller is the module that controls the transmission and reception of data and processes the information sent to and received from the upper computer.
The embedded CPUs, known for their high performance, strong stability, and compatibility, can effectively enhance the accuracy of equipment and are widely used. MYIR's MYC-YT507H System-on-Module (SoM) is built with the Allwinner T507-H automotive-grade processor, which adheres to strict quality standards, offers outstanding performance, rich peripheral resources, cost-effectiveness, and a long supply time, making it an ideal choice for highway RSU solutions.
MYIR’s MYC-YT507H System-On-Module (SOM) is based on the Allwinner T507-H processors, featuring a quad-core Cortex-A53 architecture, which meets the requirements for both performance and power efficiency. It is equipped with 1GB LPDDR4 RAM and 8GB eMMC storage, providing ample capacity for long-term local data storage and meeting the demands of big data computing. Additionally, it can be customized with different memory configurations to meet specific client requirements. With extensive pinouts and strong expandability, it is capable of extending USB, RS232 and other interfaces, allowing for secondary development on the SoM. MYIR offers source code and technical support, significantly reducing product development time and cost; industrial-grade components can be selected for stable and reliable performance.
