Newsletter - SDK Updates for Rockchip, Allwinner, and AMD/Xilinx SOMs

Welcome to MYIR's latest newsletter! We are excited to announce the release of updated SDKs for a range of our System-on-Module (SOM) products, covering the Rockchip series (MYC-LR3576, MYC-LR3568, MYC-YR3562, MYC-YR3506), Allwinner series (MYC-YT113i), and AMD/Xilinx series (MYC-C7Z010/20-V2 and MYC-Y7Z010/20-V2). These updates bring powerful new features, significant performance improvements, and enhanced documentation, all designed to help you build better applications more efficiently.

Let's review the updates we have introduced.

• MYC-LR3576 - Rockchip RK3576 based SOM - Linux 6.1.118 Distribution V2.0.0
  1) The Linux kernel has been upgraded to 6.1.118.
  2) Support for Yocto 5.0.3 has been added.
  3) Added Ubuntu 22.04 support with ready-to-use xfce4 image
  4) Pre-installed ROS2 components in Ubuntu system
  5 ) Implementation of a new multi-core heterogeneous AMP application.
  6 ) A virtual machine installation guide has been added for easier environment setup.
  7 ) A Linux Application Debugging Guide has been provided for rapid development and debugging of applications.
  8) Installation and use of the Docker environment, a virtualization deployment solution.
  9) A porting guide for LVGL has been added to enrich the GUI framework.
  10) Added Ubuntu Software Development Guide
  11) Updated SDK release notes with Ubuntu system details
  12) Optimized Linux development guide with:
  • Revised SDK package name
  • Post-extraction steps to make the instructions more accurate
  13) Documentations have been optimized.

• MYC-LR3568 - Rockchip RK3568 based SOM - Linux 6.1.99 Distribution V2.1.0
  1) Support for Yocto 5.0.3 has been added.
  2) Support for Ubuntu 22.04 has been added.

  4) Enabled system video playback functionality
  5) Enhanced documentation:
  • Updated SDK release notes with QT library details
  • Revised evaluation guide
  6) Fixed LVGL application restart black screen issue

• MYC-YT113i - Allwinner T113-i based SOM - Linux 5.4.61 Tina Distribution V3.1.0
  1) Added support for the MYC-YT113i-256N256D-110-I model.
  2) Added support for hardware and software documentation on NAND Flash version SOMs.
  3) Corrected inaccuracies in some descriptions within the documentation.

• MYC-C7Z010/20-V2 - AMD/Xilinx Zynq-7010/20 based SOM - Linux 6.6.40 Distrbution V4.0.0
  1) The Linux kernel has been upgraded from version 5.4.0 to 6.6.40.
  2) The system tool Petalinux has been upgraded to version 2024.02.
  3) The development tool Vivado has been upgraded to version 2024.02.
  4) The QT library version has been upgraded to 5.15.13.
  5) The document structure has been optimized, and some errors in the documentation have been corrected.

• MYC-Y7Z010/20-V2 - AMD/Xilinx Zynq-7010/20 based SOM - Linux 6.6.40 Distrbution V2.0.0
  1) The Linux kernel has been upgraded from version 4.14 to 6.6.40.
  2) The system tool Petalinux has been upgraded to version 2024.02.
  3) The development tool Vivado has been upgraded to version 2024.02.
  4) The document structure has been optimized.
