The AM62x represents TI's latest high-performance, ultra-efficient processor for industrial automation applications. The processors are equipped with a Cortex-A53 CPU running at up to 1.4GHz and a Cortex-M4F @400MHz, a 3D GPU graphics accelerator, and supports OpenGL 3.x/2.0/1.1 as well as the Vulkan 1.2 graphics acceleration engine.
SOM - MYC-YAM62X
The MYC-YM62X SOM measures 43mm x 45mm and is powered by TI AM623 and TI AM625 microprocessors, integrated dual display support, 3D GPU (AM625 only) graphics acceleration, as well as an extensive set of peripherals including dual TSN-enabled Gigabit Ethernet ports, USB, MMC/SD, camera interfaces, OSPI, CAN-FD and GPMC for parallel host interfaces to external ASICS/FPGAs. A variety of peripherals and IO signals can be accessed through the 1.0mm pitch 164-pin castellated holes and 58-pin LGA expansion interfaces.
Development Board - MYD-YAM62X
The MYD-YM62X Development Board is built around the MYC-YM62X SOM to serve as a complete development platform for evaluation or prototype purposes. Its base board provides a comprehensive range of communication interfaces, including dual RS485, dual CAN, dual Gigabit Ethernet, dual USB Host and one OTG, one USB-based 5G/4G module interface, one WiFi/BT module. The board has also explored advanced multi-media capabilities of AM62x to support dual LVDS display, audio and camera as well as HDMI display support via a RGB conversion chip.

The software materials of MYC-YM62X include, but are not limited to, source code for all peripheral drivers for Linux along with associated development tools. The documentation materials comprise a product manual, hardware user manual, hardware design guide, PDF schematic diagram of the carrier board, Linux software development guide, and other pertinent materials.

The AM62x processor is an industrial-grade application chip from TI that integrates ARM Cortex-A53 high-performance CPU and ARM Cortex-M4F real-time CPU, including a 3D GPU graphics accelerator (AM625x only), supports dual-screen differential display, and supports 1080P high-definition display. Suitable for industrial HMI, electric power, display and control terminals, industrial automation, charging piles, medical and other scenarios.
