The AM335X series features the high performance, low power features of the ARM Cortex-A8 core, providing the highest DMIPS at the same cost. It also provides 3D graphics acceleration and integration of key peripherals to meet various application needs. Optional 3D graphics accelerators with performance up to 20 M/tri/s, support for LPDDR1/DDR2/DDR3 memory, and independent PRU subsystems provide additional flexibility in product design. Optional support for Ethercat and Profibus further meets the needs of industrial design.
SOM - MYC-C335X-GW
Measuring only 50mm by 40mm, the MYC-C335X-GW is the fourth AM335x SOM designed by MYIR especially for gateway applications. It is powered by 800MHz TI AM3354 ARM Cortex-A8 processor which features PowerVR™ SGX530 for 2D and 3D graphics acceleration. In addition to a DDR3L RAM memory, the MYC-C335X-GW is equipped with a Nand Flash or an eMMC Flash. It has an integrated PMIC on board and two 0.8mm pitch 80-pin board-to-board expansion connectors for interconnecting with your base board, thus providing an interface for the base board to carry out most of the I/O signals to and from the SOM
Development Board - MYD-C335X-GW
The MYD-C335X-GW Development Board consists of a high-performance SOM MYC-C335X-GW (15x15mm ZCZ package, 800MHz AM3354 by default), which integrated with TI AM335x ARM Cortex-A8 processors.and a base board designed especially for gateway applications. the MYC-C335X-GW SOM integrates an up to 1GHz AM335x processor 256MB/512MB DDR3L, 4GB eMMC Flash/256MB Nand Flash, 256Kbit EEPROM and PMIC mounted on the top of the base board via two 0.8mm pitch 80-pin Board-to-Board expansion connectors. The base board provides a good showcase of the SOM’s connectivity features and performance, rich peripherals are routed out including RS232, RS485, USB 2.0 Host, 2 x Ethernet (or 1 x Ethernet and 1 x SFP interface), Micro SD card slot, WiFi/Bluetooth module, LVDS, LCD and JTAG as well as a Mini PCIe interface for USB based 4G LTE module.
