MYIR Launches Renesas RZ/T2H-based SoM for High-Performance Industrial Real-Time Control

Shenzhen, China - April 21, 2026 - MYIR, a global provider of embedded System-on-Modules (SoMs) and solutions, today announced the launch of the MYC-YT2HX SoM, and its companion development board, the MYD-YT2HX. Built around the powerful Renesas RZ/T2H processor (R9A09G077M44GBG), this new solution is specifically engineered to meet the rigorous demands of high-performance industrial real-time control, multi-axis motor control, and industrial Ethernet applications.

The MYC-YT2HX SoM integrates the Renesas RZ/T2H's unique heterogeneous architecture, which combines a Quad-Core Arm Cortex-A55 processor running up to 1.2GHz for complex application processing with a Dual-Core Arm Cortex-R52 processor running up to 1.0GHz for deterministic, low-latency real-time control. This single-chip solution enables the precise control of up to 9 axes of motors, making it ideal for advanced industrial robots, motion controllers, PLCs, and multi-axis servo drives.
Despite its powerful capabilities, the MYC-YT2HX maintains a compact footprint of just 50mm x 52mm, and features a rugged 336-pin (192-pin LCC + 144-pin LGA) expansion interface. MYIR has equipped the module with a robust hardware configuration designed for demanding industrial environments:
Memory & Storage: 2GB LPDDR4, 8GB eMMC, 16MB QSPI NOR Flash
Connectivity: 4x MII Ethernet ports (supporting TSN and protocols like EtherCAT), 2x CAN-FD, 1x USB 2.0 HOST/OTG, 2x PCIe Gen3 channels, and an extensive array of UART, I2C, and SPI interfaces.
Motor Control & I/O: 9-channel PWM MTU, 56-channel PWM GPT, 14-channel ADC, and a 30-channel Delta-Sigma Interface (DSMIF).
Display: 24-bit RGB interface supporting WXGA (1280x800) @ 60fps.
Industrial Grade: Supports a wide operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C.

Accelerate Development with the MYD-YT2HX Development Board
To facilitate rapid prototyping, MYIR also launched the MYD-YT2HX Development Board. This board features the MYC-YT2HX SoM pre-mounted on a dedicated carrier board that unlocks the full potential of the RZ/T2H processor. Key carrier board features include four 10/100 Mbps Ethernet ports, industrial RS232/RS485 and CAN-FD interfaces via Phoenix connectors, a Micro SD card slot, a 24-bit RGB display interface (compatible with MYIR's MY-TFT070RV2 7-inch LCD module), 12-channel ADC inputs, and two 3x32-pin expansion connectors for flexible functional expansion.
The development kit ships with a Linux 5.10 operating system, complete software packages including U-boot, kernel source, peripheral drivers, and comprehensive documentation. The bundle includes a USB Type A-to-C cable, a 12V/2A power adapter, Phoenix connectors, and a Quick Start Guide, providing an out-of-the-box development experience.
